Presentation
Looking for a place to ski in France this winter? In the Alps, Les Menuires welcomes you from December 10th 2022 to April 28th 2023. With 52% of the area covered by snow guns, snow is guaranteed all season long. Let's take a look at the panoramas of this emblematic family ski resort of Savoie, with the slopes of the Masse and the Mont de la Chambre!
"La Masse"
Wild and unique, Pointe de la Masse is one of the most beautiful peaks in the area. It is exposed to the sun in the morning, perfect for those who like to start the day on the slopes!Since 2021, new gondolas have been linking the summit at an altitude of 2,804 m. They provide an opportunity to admire the landscape in a different way. An escalator from the gondolas’ arrival point takes skiers to the top of the slopes and provides access to the 800 m2 terrace with 360° panoramic views.
Beginners will find several blue slopes, including those of the Bouquetin and Les Enverses. Experienced skiers can try the Fred Covili, a red slope, or the very difficult Lac Noir slope. Do you prefer off-piste skiing? In the company of your ski instructor, go and discover more confidential areas, such as the Yvoses or the Vallée des Encombres.
For families, the Friendly Natural Park offers a space around the animals of the mountain which will delight children. You can also take a well-deserved break in the dedicated picnic area.
To save time, tou can rent your ski equipment. Booked online, it will also be prepared in advance.

Mont de la Chambre
After a morning on Pointe de la Masse, come and spend the afternoon on the side of the Mont de la Chambre! It is a great place, reaching an altitude of 2,850 m and offering a magnificent view of Mont Blanc.A wide choice of slopes of all colours awaits you:
- Green: the Montagnette, the Violette...
- Blue: the 3 Marches, the Lac des Combes...
- Red: the Becca, the David Douillet...
- Black: the Léo Lacroix
This slope is also a privileged gateway to other sites in Les 3 Vallées. It includes several tipping points, including the Roc de Fer and the Col de la Chambre. Overlooking Val Thorens, it gives access to the domains of Méribel and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. This position within the largest ski area in the world makes it a unique setting for the organisation of events. For example, the Trophée de l'Espoir will take place in February and the 3 Vallées Enduro in April!
