Presentation

⛷ Classic Nordic Skiing – Group lessons 6 Afternoons – Adults (aged 13+) & Children (aged 6-12) – Beginner level

Classic Nordic skiing is practised in two parallel tracks, using a gliding motion similar to walking.
  • Movement: The skier moves forward with a gliding stride in two parallel tracks (like walking or running)
  • Technique: The movement resembles walking or cross-country skiing, with the skis always parallel
  • Terrain: Ideal on groomed tracks with marked rails
  • Style: More traditional, often easier for beginners

🔄 Classic vs Skating
Classic skiing involves gliding in tracks with parallel skis and a movement similar to walking, whilst skating is practised on a wide piste without tracks, with skis in a V-shape and a more dynamic and physical skating motion.
